About The Adolphus Hotel Wedding Venue

1321 Commerce Street, Dallas, Texas 75202

The Adolphus Hotel is an institution that was dreamed up by Adolphus Busch, the cofounder of Anheuser-Busch. While the brewery operated in St. Louis, Adolphus saw Dallas as the future. So he decided to build a hotel to accommodate the growing number of visitors. The luxury hotel was modeled to feel like a Germanic castle with a granite facade and intricate stone details. Since the hotel opened its doors in 1912, it has welcomed presidents, celebrities, and even members of the British royal family. With such a rich past, it’s the perfect place to throw your own legendary celebration!

Details of the Grounds

With The Adolphus Hotel, you can start out your wedding in one of their luxurious suites, where you will have plenty of space to get ready alongside your party. The rooms are modern and bright to give you the ideal backdrops for your candid pictures.

The hotel offers you several ballrooms that can be used for both your ceremony and your reception. Up on the 19th floor, you will have the Governor’s Ballroom, complete with white walls, brass globe lights, and windows that look out across the city. With a neutral color palette, it’s ideal for all wedding styles!

The Century Ballroom is located on the ballroom level and offers off-white walls, chandeliers, and French windows. This space can hold up to 250 guests.

Larger weddings can use The Grand Ballroom, where you will have crystal chandeliers hung from hand-painted, 20-foot ceilings, as well as white walls and French paneling. This area is able to hold up to 400 guests. The ballroom level also offers a lounge that you can use for your cocktail hour, as your reception space of choice is transformed.

The interior of The Adolphus Hotel has several spots you can use for your wedding portraits. In addition to the rooms, you will be able to use the grand staircases and well-decorated common areas for individual and couple’s portraits. Outside, you will have some of the best views of the city for an urban backdrop.
